Deck Construction
This section of my site demonstrates the construction methods I use to ensure that your decking is a solid structure that will give you many years of pleasure.
The old patio is removed & the first structural posts go in.
Supporting struts are put in place & a platform is built out.
Steps are added to the platform & a lower level of decking is begun.
Fencing is also erected.
A network of cross struts start to go in for strength.
The cross struts cover the entire structure.
These posts will support the banisters & railings...
...so there are quite a few.
Finally, the main set of steps are added before the decking is put down.
